Position Summary
The Salesforce Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom applications, automated workflows, and system integrations on the Salesforce platform. This role combines programmatic development (Apex, Lightning Web Components) with declarative tools (Flow) to customize Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and enterprise integrations to meet complex business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Custom Development: Design and build custom, scalable business logic using Apex classes, triggers, and controllers alongside responsive user interfaces using Lightning Web Components (LWC).
Declarative Automation: Utilize advanced Salesforce Flow Builder and dynamic forms to automate complex business processes while minimizing custom code where appropriate.
Integration Engineering: Architect and maintain secure REST/SOAP APIs and middleware connectors to integrate Salesforce with external applications, ERPs, and data warehouses.
Data Modeling & Querying: Build and optimize relational data models (custom objects, fields, and relationships) and execute efficient data retrieval using SOQL and SOSL.
Quality Assurance & Testing: Write comprehensive Apex test classes to maintain high code coverage (80%+ target), perform unit testing, and enforce code quality standards.
ALM & DevOps: Deploy changes across sandboxes and production environments using Salesforce DX, CLI version control (Git), and modern CI/CD pipelines (Copado, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions).
Security & Governance: Configure granular access controls using roles, permission sets, sharing rules, and field-level security to protect sensitive enterprise data.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
Experience: 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack Salesforce application development.
Technical Skills:
Advanced proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and JavaScript.
Deep understanding of SOQL, SOSL, transaction control, and governor limits.
Experience with API integrations (REST, SOAP, Pub/Sub API, platform events).
Proficiency in web technologies (HTML5, CSS, modern JavaScript ES6+).
Methodology: Experience operating in an Agile/Scrum software development lifecycle.

Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (PD1)
Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II (PD2)
Salesforce Certified JavaScript Developer I
Hands-on experience with Data Cloud or Agentforce AI implementations.
Familiarity with MuleSoft API connectivity or Salesforce Financial Services Cloud / Health Cloud.
